About this site

The Back End is an independent publication launched in October 2024 by Gavin Driggers. It was started in an effort to document my journey as a Systems Administrator with a focus on Cybersecurity. Working with a small business, I encountered a lot of niche use-cases for already niche tools that had little documentation. I had to experiment around with many different configurations to get things working the way I wanted and I figured that I would document the process to help others with the issues I've encountered.
